We’re This Close! In More Than One Way
‘This close’ is a campaign initiated by Rotary International that relates to Polioplus because we are ‘this close’ to ending polio globally. Rotary has contributed more than $2.1 billion to the Polioplus campaign. Members are currently walking to raise funds as part of the end game strategy to help make Polio history so that no child ever again suffers paralytic poliomyelitis.

With 1.22 million members around the world, Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring people together from the community, business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and advance goodwill and peace around the world.
